 !  Lobbying councillor June Fewtrell

Cllr Fewtrell is a LibDem councillor for the ward adjoining the Orchard Centre. She voted with the rest of the LibDems to deny our request for a 6 month moratorium on the sale of the Orchard Centre.

Importantly, Cllr Fewtrell is a member of the Planning Committee, and might be making a judgement on whether the Council's own application should be given permission.

It's up to us to make sure that happens.

The more people that let Cllr Fewtrell know that they disapprove of this plan, the better, so please get in touch with her by one of the methods below:

•Write a letter to Cllr Fewtrell. Click this link to download an outline text, then add your name and address, add to/or alter the text to say just what you think, print it out and post it.

•Attend her weekly 'Surgery' meeting. All councillors have 'Surgeries' - to which anyone can turn up and put questions. Cllr Fewtrell is available as follows: Saturdays, 11.00am-12.30pm
Streatham Tate Library, Streatham High Road, SW16 - phone before you go to be sure she is going to be there, other councillors use this time as well. And get there early to make sure you get seen!

•Leave a telephone message for Cllr Fewtrell, telling her you think the Council should halt the sale.020 8674 8859

Send an email to Cllr Fewtrell - you could download the letter text from the link above to give you some ideas about what to write. Email her HERE.
